Before you choose a real estate agent, it is important to know certain things about the person you select. Consider these questions as suggestions to help you select the best agent to represent you.
- How long have you been in real estate?
- Do you have any REALTOR designations?
- How many Buyers did you work with last year?
- Do you work as a Buyers Agent?
- Can you explain what Buyer Representation is?
- Can you explain the advantages and disadvantages of a 30 year fixed rate mortgage?
- Would it be in my family's best interest to consider a 15/20/25 year mortgage? Why?
- Is an ARM or a balloon financing something we should consider? Why?
- Do you have any references?
